Welcome to A Swell Collection! I’m Crystal and I’m Micaela! 

Crystal is a creative director who focuses on client experience through brand and content strategy. Micaela is a brand designer whose specialities range from brand creation, website build outs, course creation and seriously so much more! 

With plenty of time to have “idea talks” we decided to pull our best talents together and create A Swell Collection. This collection represents being able to bring our best efforts forward with the resources we have. This is the story of most entrepreneurs when they are first starting. What does semi - custom mean?

 

Semi-custom means that we truly have customized these templates to the best of our ability without actually talking to you, spending hours of strategy planning with you, and learning about your business.

We specifically call our kits semi-custom to mean that these kits DO NOT and will never include logo templates, and here is why:

Your business logo should be uniquely crafted to fit the name of your brand and it should not look like someone else’s, nor should it include ‘free elements’ that you found in the internet. We also do not recommend using free logo generators. We truly believe investing to customize this part of your branding identity is well-justified and something that can be easily well accomplished especially when you provide your illustrator with our semi-custom kits for further direction.

Can I hire you to fully customize my kit?

 

This service is available to you based on availability, but it is not something that you have to depend on us for. There are many other avenues by which you can get a customized logo(s) and one we recommend is hiring a trusted and recommended freelancer that can illustrate/design your logo based on your brand name and other graphic elements it would need to include.

Do you offer any other customization services?

 

Absolutely. We also believe that with the right tools and knowledge you can and will be able to further customize your semi-custom branding kit even further. Each of kits include the basic elements that a fully customized branding kit includes, however, if you wanted to make adjustments you certainly can whether that is adjusting a color, a font, or adding to it. If you feel unsure about how to go about this, you can purchase customization hours. We certainly do not think it is necessary nor something to do right away.

Will you include a video tutorial on how I can use these myself?

 

Yes! The program you will need to use these immediately is CANVA, inside CANVA you will be able to create your own social media graphics without having to learn complex software like adobe illustrator, photoshop, etc. Canva Pro is all you need to get started, and all you may need to keep going!

  • Having your brand visual identity defined and ready to use is a foundational step in building a brand that often is missed and skipped due to high costs. However, these semi-customized kits will allow you to have access to a stylized look for a fraction of the cost and give you the foundation you will need to begin creating content/graphics for your social media channels, website, etc - with style.

  • Congratulations on your being #branded! The next steps will include learning how to use the tools and guides we have provided for you inside your download so that you (or any of your team members) can begin making stylized graphics, sourcing branded images, etc for your business and brand needs.

  • We absolutely do not believe in mass producing logos. Every brand should have a distinct logo(s) and this is why we call our branding kits “semi-custom.” We do offer logo customization packages (service will be based on availability) but we also believe you can hire any trusted and recommended graphic designer to help you complete this missing piece. You can find well rated freelance graphic designers in platforms like fiverr and upwork.

  • Ha! Every brand designer will likely have a bit of a differing view in this. Good branding is not a guarantee to success but certainly a great foundation to attain success with less headaches. There are multiple examples of brands/influencers who have attained incredible success without spending thousands of dollars on branding, undoubtedly. Success depends on more than visuals and style and is often achieved with other factors at play like marketing, consistency, audience, pricing, brand voice, brand outlets, brand topic, etc.

  • Our branding kits can be used for only your own personal brand page or pages. As long as the pages it is represented in are yours (and not suspiciously someone else’s) that is fine.

  • This is a service we have offered and will offer towards the later half of this year. For the time being, fully-customized kits are not available due to my [Micaela’s] fast approaching maternity leave.

  • Unfortunately, due to the nature of our downloads (digital instant download) we cannot offer refunds for your purchase.
